Paquetes is a series of assemblages that create portraits of desaparecidos or disappeared victims attributed to the war against the narco. Placed in shadow boxes, the white and black lithographs resemble mugshots pieced together with found objects. These elements create an enormous deposit of information that revisits the supposed story of each person beyond their trace—a preservation of sensation, a habit….a documentation of habits and behavior during that interval of time.
